Children and Youth Ministries at All Saints

Children and youth work is an important part of life at All Saints. We have programmes for children and young people of all ages. Have a look below at the different groups that meet throughout the week. All our leaders have enhanced DBS clearance. You can see our Safeguarding Policy here. Please do contact us if you would like to find out more.

SEN and Inclusion: We welcome all children, from all backgrounds and families. Does your child have specific additional needs? Please do contact us if you would like to chat about your child before coming along. We are currently working on our statement of inclusion and additional needs, so watch this space.

Junior Church

We are committed to teaching children about Jesus in an age appropriate and inclusive way. We aim to make this fun and engaging so that every child can be involved and participate fully in all the activities. We have groups for all children in our Sunday morning service, from 0 – 14 years old. We all stay together for the beginning of the service and then split into our different groups. These are the groups that run at the 10.30 service on a Sunday morning:

Creche (0-3 year olds)

We provide a creche for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years. You can leave your child with the Creche leaders and should your child need you during the service, we will alert one of our Church Wardens who will come and let you know. There is also an area in the church entrance with a sound relay for parents who aren’t able to leave their baby in the creche, and for breast-feeding mums.

Explorers (Age 3 -Y2)

Explorers is a group for ages 3 to Year 2s. We have interactive teaching from the Bible that seeks to engage all of the children from the youngest to the oldest, and whatever their needs. Our teaching is split into two so it is age-appropriate, and the children enjoy other activities, including craft and games.

Discoverers (Years 3-6)

Our aim for Discoverers is to share God’s word with the children so that they grow to know and love Jesus more. Each session includes Bible teaching, activities, games and craft. The leaders are committed to getting to know all the children, and strive to share the good news of Jesus with each one.

Pathfinders (Years 7 – 9)

Pathfinders meets during our Sunday morning services. Our aim is to introduce each young person to Jesus through the Bible, encouraging and discipling them. We open up the Bible together, discussing what it says, and have fun together as we play games and other activities.

Roots Youth Group (Years 10-13)

Cell Group meets on Thursday evenings during term-time, 7:30 – 9pm, in the church hall.

The aim of Cell Group is to open up the Bible with the teenagers to learn together what it means to live for Him. Each meeting consists of an interactive Bible study and time to socialise. We play pool, air-hockey and table-football amongst other things.
